Halfway End of Phase I
PROGRAM DYNAMICS: Core of CAP Individual controls speed of development and exploration Process allows one to bypass mental defenses moving directly into subconscious
Beginning End Halfway
PROGRAM DYNAMICS: Core of CAP Individuals resonate to the archetypes suggested in the music Each person connects to their core creativity allowing an understanding of one’s personal story
"I was able to express myself outside of words, outside of others, to yell, to scream, to be happy and to feel all of that." "I was able to speak to myself in total security (even if it was painful)."
PROGRAM DYNAMICS: Core of CAP The archetypes – unconscious dynamics – have the ability to put the “Me” in motion Unique creative process is exhibited when drawing or painting is associated with musical induction
"When an experience is beneficial like this one, there aren't too many words to qualify it and choosing them is not easy. Also, I would say that I just simply 'felt the music' and its extraordinary sensation of evolution..."
PROGRAM DYNAMICS: Core of CAP The individual orchestrates through graphic expression the symbols or archetypes in their personal history Once exposed, these symbols are a focal point to explore needed changes
Same music, one year after — Titles of the music tracks not communicated as well
PROGRAM DYNAMICS: Core of CAP Individual takes charge of their own history in a creative process Ability to create order to their inner world and clarifies the shadows or misunderstood parts of self
This is the most successful, session since the beginning. All the symbolism is there. The rain, the water, …that's my problem, my diarrhea. Water is part of my personality. "The second series allows him to go even further: he is freed of his symptom (diarrhea) and mourns its passing. He makes a big step by representing the parts of his body. He projects them onto the paper and simultaneously asks if we could talk about him and his experience." Looking at the last collage, Dr. VerdeauPailles sums up the patient's release from symptoms: “This music is much more than a projective test; it is a therapeutic tool.” The second series, showing the work of releasing, follows below." — Dr. Jacqueline Verdeau-Paillès - Psychiatrist and Music Therapist

PROGRAM DYNAMICS: Core of CAP Ability to access the inner therapist The reorganization of one’s inner life brings each into a position of strength
“Everything that I wasn't able to express verbally to a friend, I was able to say through my drawings. I discovered a lot of things about me (…); I feel like I've been strengthened, like I've taken stock of a number of different things. I even found answers to a lot of questions. I just feel better.”
PROGRAM DYNAMICS: Core of CAP The manifestation of the “Dynamic Evolving Impulse” The archetypes alters one’s perception igniting a new way to view the inner world Changes in perception opens the way to change behavior "But seriously, I think that it's a good experience to at least one time draw with this melody that, all the while keeping the same style, manages to modulate itself from one CD to the next, to transmute itself, to go from imprisonment to freedom (for example)."
