Step inside the World of THE ORPHEUS PROJECT
THE ORPHEUS PROJECT Discover
The Orpheus Project is inspired by Orpheus, who moved the masses with the sweetness of his music, and inspired much of the literature, poetry, and drama of ancient Greece and Rome. Honoring their god of medicine, Asclepios (son of Apollo and Coronis), the Ancient Greeks erected spectacular healing venues known as Asclepieions—where great classical dramas were staged with music, in impressive amphitheaters connected to highly-developed healthcare centers. As early as 350 BC, people traveled to these locations from around the world in the quest to be healed through powerful cathartic theatrical spectacles. In the current day, millions of people yearn to experience such a cathartic emotional journey, as they simultaneously benefit from specialized health care treatments. And yet, integrating the grand spectacle of music, art, and medicine into the framework of a single magnificent facility is a feat not attempted in more than 2500 years. During the past decade, multi-talented creators and practitioners in diverse specialties have worked diligently and collaboratively to debut just such project that—inspired by Orpheus—blends the performing arts, medical sciences, and modern technology together. In this bold endeavor, the Orpheus Project seeks the support of international organizations and investors that can harness the resources and expertise necessary to manifest the project in tangible form. Help us change the way to heal people around the world!

WHAT THE PROFESSIONAL SAY Interviews Fred Caruso, Producer Lisa Bahar, Cinema-Therapist Thomas J. Scheff, Professor Emeritus of Sociology
Fred: "This is the most fantastic thing that I have ever heard about… the way the story, the way the music, the way the visuals, the way the performance… everything that was coming together, that they were trying to put together was something that was just unimaginable and certainly something that should be done." Lisa: "To me the experience of having the immersive environment as you call it, the elements coming together in this very safe, contained, secure place where you are not alone, but they're actually going to an individual experience, collectively… I would like to set up an environment like this…" Fred: "Their (spectators) senses, their mind, their brain, their eyes… something they have never seen before. Plus the fact that it is good for your soul and your heart and your body." Thomas: “We all carry along a backlog of unresolved emotions which feel pretty heavy when we touch them and we are likely to feel that we don’t want to get into it. We cant handle it. We get lost in it.” Lisa: "Arts wether it's film or music or words or dance or movement… all of that has a way of affecting as not matter how much we want to deny it". It can help at access us. Thomas: "… I am looking around… everybody in the audience is crying. That crying is a replacement for the crying that they should have done earlier but now feel free to do. And a group setting enhances that possibility. It makes it safe to go back and get into your backlog or whatever emotions you've been repressing." CONCLUSION
“Music and the visual is important to our lifes, is important for our health. When you take that and connect it with the health program that the experience will have, you have a total completely full soul of life until you take your last breathe” — Fred Caruso, Producer.
